Church, Sr. Award Gala is dedicated to honoring businesses and organizations that reflect Mr. Church's dedication to entrepreneurial services and investments that enhance our community. Robert R. Church, Sr. is considered the first Black millionaire in Memphis and made exceptional contributions to the city, such as establishing the first Black-owned bank in Memphis and saving the city’s charter following a series of devastating yellow fever epidemics. Robert R. Church, Sr. Achievement Awards honors high-performing minority and women-owned business enterprises (M/WBEs) committed to quality, innovation and community development. Celebrating KBG’s Accomplishment Being a finalist for M/WBE Quality Assurance Business of the Year is a testimony to the efforts and dedication of the entire KBG Technologies team.
